Indonesian Cris John joining the Fray????

I am very happy to have a rematch with Marquez. If the money is right I would be very happy to fight him in the USA and then everyone could see who is the best.”

33 year-old Marquez moves up in weight to challenge WBC junior lightweight world champion Marco Antonio Barrera on March 17 in Las Vegas. John 38-0-1 (20) wants to fight the winner later this year.

“We are hoping that Marquez beats Barrera,” said John’s trainer/manager Craig Christian. “That will make for an even bigger fight when we have a rematch.”

“If Barrera is in good condition, I think he can beat Marquez,” said John. “But it will be a very good fight because Marquez is a very smart boxer as well.”

While he is unknown to many boxing fans around the world, John is not limiting his sights to just Marquez or Barrera. He one day hopes to face Filipino Manny Pacquiao in a monster battle of the Pacific.

“I want to fight all of the best boxers out there,” John told S**********t. “I want big fights so that I can prove that I am the very best. Pacquiao is a big puncher. I would love that fight and I would train very hard to beat him.”

If this guy is indeed serious and will go to U.S. to fight the big names at 135 then it's a welcome development. This will make the division more interesting.

Feather/super feather is full of great fighters who dont fight eachother.

          Other than Barerra/JMM of course.

This guy beat marquez and he wants to come to the US to prove he's the best. Damn, i have respect for him.

I hope he becomes a real champion, not those overrated international guys that just stay in thier country.

Pac is smart, he came here and now he's big. It would have been a shame to see him end up like galaxy, darius michalcewski and those other guys that are good but just stay at home.
