I agree 100%, he has a crowd-pleasing style, but I think he's starting to be overrated from his last match... let's not forget though.. IMO he was very unimpressive against Abraham, too predictable and not enough workrate in late rounds... He's a true fighter and I think he'll KO Green but some people need to stop riding him...

People always ride a new horse right when it gets out of the gates. Over time, the praise dies down. Anyway, I think Miranda has some good smack talking abilities, too. I mean, he runs his mouth in a way that, based on quotes in articles, seems intelligent. Now if only he could go the way of Arce and attempt to learn English so he was more appealing to an American audience.

Middleweight contender Edison Miranda took time out from his busy training schedule in Puerto Rico to address comments recently made by IBF 'beltholder' Arthur Abraham. "I apologize to my fans for not saying much recently, as I'm training very hard for my fight on March 3rd with Allan Green," said Miranda of his HBO World Championship Boxing bout this Saturday night. "I wish I could be judging beauty contests like Arthur Abraham, but fighters fight." Miranda is the number one middleweight contender and Abraham mandated by the IBF to fight 'Pantera' a second time by June 23, 2007. Abraham is targeting an April return against a still unnamed opponent. "It must be a slow time for boxing in Germany that a fighter with a losing record can't be dug up for Abraham to fight in April," said Miranda. "I think I broke more than his jaw last September. I think I broke his desire to be a fighter. Either that or his jaw still hurts." While Abraham continues his rehab, Miranda s fighting for the second time on HBO since their September fight.

I love the girl in your signature and I really appreciate you creating threads but this is the third topic you made tonight that someone else already created a thread on. This, the Holyfield steroid issue, and the Green-Miranda and Cotto-Urkal stare downs have already been shown. Just suggesting you double check what other have already contributed.
