  • Darnell Wilson's Contender Status Rises

Duva Boxing wishes to congratulate their three victorious warriors after Friday’s outstanding ESPN2 broadcasted event from sold-out Scranton CYC Center.

In the main event, the newest addition to Duva Boxing’s stable, Darnell “Ding-a-Ling Man” Wilson (21-5-3, 18 KOs) served notice to the world that he is a dire threat to the 200-lb world champions by scoring a crushing third-round knockout over former IBF king Kelvin Davis.

I got to see Biggs fight on the undercard of Peter-Sykes in Reno (and actually met him after his fight). I gotta say, while it was hard to really measure his abilities based on the oponent, he is one crisp puncher, he had great form and you could basically sense the power from outside the ring. The guy really left an impression and i told him that after the fight, but he didnt fight again for 11 months after that (at least according to boxrec). I'm glad to see hes active again.

Wilson doesn't impress me at all. He is slow and sluggish in the ring with good power early on. We'll see how far he goes but I just don't see it.
