I Cursed Buddy McGirt...

I saw Buddy McGirt at a boxing card in Louisville in November of 2004 where Rid**** Bowe was supposed to be the main event but canceled. Etienne filled in. It was all worth it because I met McGirt, Bowe, and Etienne. Etienne even talked to me for about 10 minutes, which is crazy to think about seeing what he turned into later. HOLY ****, maybe I cursed Etienne too!!!!

But this thread is about McGirt, who is on a huge losing streak with his boys. I hear he's training Golota, who ALREADY sucks, so this is gonna be bad. But when I met Buddy, I told him, "Good luck with Tarver". Tarver lost his fight with Glen Johnson a month later.

Mcgirt was a very good fighter, honestly he is better than guys like judah, corrales, castillo and all of these of other guys that get overhyped. I would say hes better than cory spinks too.

maybe true, cant know because they cant fight each other in their primes, but i think you overrate the old fighters....ive seen this in most of your posts.

Mcgirt is a modern fighter. I love the modern era far more than the old guys. I have made claims that henry armstrong and archie moore are vastly overrated, i am by no means a fan of the old guys.

I think maybe McGirt got too much credit for what he did with Gatti. All he really did was teach him better footwork, and even then it didnt help that much.
