and Gorres 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 total score 114-112 for Gorres (with 2 point deduction)

I gave them 6 rounds a peice. I think round 10 deserved to be 10-8 because Gorres fell because he was hurt from a punch. He tried holding and just fell without being pushed down or anything, he just didnt have his legs under him as a result of being hurt from a punch. So I think it should have been 10-8 for a knockdown or just the fact that he hurt him badly in that round but not for holding. I also dont think a point should have been deducted in round 12. So I had Montiel winning a very close fight.

I could see how you came up with your score. Its not crazy or anything. It was a close fight that could have been scored many different ways.

Both fighters could make their own cases as to why they won the fight and it would make sense. But Montiel won and thats final.

I wouldnt mind seeing a rematch in the future.

By the way i became a Z Gorres fan after this fight. Even though I had Montiel winning, Gorres impressed me. Hes a good fighter and deffinaelty proved he can hang at the world class level despite never being there before.

Montiel easily won the fight...Gorres kept holding the whole fight...and their were 2 knock downs that were not counted that should have been...if the fighter is off balance and a punch causes you to go down then it's a knock down...but the referee kept giving gorres breaks...to be the hometown fighter and lose a decision proves that montiel in another country would have won that fight 120-109.....
