A doctor that was probably paid to advise me not to box anymore because someone saw my future and saw that i will dominate the boxing world one day with my uppercuts n ****...so maybe he paid the doctor or sumthin so that day will never come? PS: thanks for that site, now i know wtf is wrong with my bone joint structure TMD: temporomandibular joint disfunction...wohoo its only temporary

The only treatment that I've ever heard of is surgery; but the down side to that is guaranteed arthritis. Most decide that the tmj is better than the other. Other than that I was led to believe that once you got it; you GOT it! (maybe check with a chiropractor)

Believe it or not, it has nothing to do with age. Have you had extractions before? That can cause it...have you ever been stuck with you jaws open and have to wait to get them closed? (much fun!!)
You might can have the surger now and not get arthritis....it was a long time ago when I was told the side effects of surgery.

Well, that's very cool but back in the day I was told that the piece kept the condition from getting worse; not improved it. Apparently medical science has moved forward since then
