Reality check: I still think it's a rumor to push Peter's people to decline the offer to step aside, because if Lewis is coming back, Peter would have to wait until early 2008 for his title fight and I doubt he would do that. WBC would sanction the Lewis vs. Klitschko II, no matter how many lawsuits they would be facing from Duva and that fruitcake Gotsev.

Sam Peter is really getting screwed. No one wants to fight him- Klitschko is trying to bypass him, Lewis wants to bypass him (rumor has it). He's just not a big attraction despite his success. Just not a name or face that sells...so the tops dogs don't want to bother taking a potentially dangerous fight against him.
