Oscar better work on defending the jab to the body since this punch will likely be his downfall moreso then floyds leaping left hook and straight right.
your spreading this silliness on this site too. i guess your not content to be the laughing stock of east side boxing forum so you want to be ridiculed here too. without a bat floyd has no chance to hurt dlh no matter where he hits him. he can definitely outbox him and stands a decent chance of doing so but he cant do what hard punchers in 5 divisions have been unable to do no matter how slick a boxer he is. floyds been hit by 2nd and 3rd rate fighters so a 6 division champ will surely be able to knock the snot out of him too. if he can handle oscars punch and continue to outbox him he can win. i just dont think he can do it and guys like angelo dundee agree with me, or rather i agree with angie.

I stopped reading when you said Mayweather's slicker than Whittaker.

How are you gonna compare Oscar to Baldomir?? This will be a close fight and I see Floyd getting hurt from the accumulated power shots.. Going down around the 8th round.
If he wins he will win by UD though.
so if you see floyd going down in the 8th round then how will it be a close fight genius? think before you type? i don't see oscar hurting floyd not 1 time in the fight. i see floyd hurting oscar with his combos and counterpunching though.

WHY IS IT SILLINESS, BECAUSE YOU DON'T AGREE WITH IT? I THINK IT'S A PRETTY FAIR ARGUMENT. WHO GIVES A FLYING **** WHO LAUGHS AT WHAT HE SAYS? IS HE SUPPOSE TO CRY OVER IT? CALM THE HELL DOWN.

Why are you comparing it to a fight Oscar had years back? Oscar is older. Floyd will have a better gameplan than he did for Baldomir with Roger in his corner and his dad will probably lend some tips too on Oscar's weaknesses.

I could only see Floyd defeating himself by being careless or not training, which has never happened. If Floyd is still quick at 154 when Oscar comes inside Floyd will block his shots and escape to the outside. Oscar may get tired chasing Floyd.

The one thing I do like is that Floyd isn't putting any emphasis on adding mass and coming in heavier. At least so far he'd not forgetting what brung him.

I think this scenario isnt too far fetched but, don't you think that we saw the best Mayweather could be, in this fight, at this higher weight when he beat Baldomir? He boxed, he was slick and defensively superior, he hit Baldomir with his best power shots for what ? 6 rounds until he supposedly/probably hurt his hand. For the rest of the fight he still dominated, presumably with 1 hand no doubt.

Now he's stepping up north another 7 pounds against a 2007 version of ODLH. All you have to do is ask yourself one question: How much better is DLH than Baldomir? Easy, he's on a completely different level. Far better than Baldomir in every respect possible, everyone probably agrees with that statement, so this fight is way more even than some people feel around here. I think if Oscar fights a good fight he has a very real chance of winning this by decision maybe even stopping Mayweather. Mayweather could also effectively box and Corey Spinks Oscar if he executes his best strategy but you can bet this fight will be rough for Mayweather regardless.

By the way I think this press blitz these guys are havin is gonna produce some classic PBF lines looking forward to em.

Ok but we don't know if Oscar still has enough left to defeat him. Also Floyd said the Baldomir fight was a piece of cake, its not like he had any trouble. I'm sure DLH will present more difficulty but I still think Floyd will come out victorious. Floyd will be prepared with Roger Mayweather in his corner, and I wouldn't be suprised if Mayweather Sr lend some kind of helping hand to Floyd. Floyd Sr. probably knows DLH's weaknesses better than any of us.
