Will Sugar Ray Leonard have any impact on Manfredo's chances?

I don't think he will. I think he's just there to hype what is, frankly, a poor fight. He didnt really help his brother when he was in his corner, so why would he help Manfredo. Not for want of trying, you understand, but there's a difference between being a great trainer and a great fighter. Look at Freddie Roach, he didnt set the world alite with his boxing career but he is a great trainer.

I think Calzaghe beats the much smaller Manfredo by stoppage. What does everyone think?

Your right, I dont think Manfredo has much chance against Calzaghe, he really has been throw in at the deep end.

Can anybody tell me why Calzaghe is not facing KKessler? Kessler has a legiimate argumate at being the true 168 lb champ of the world. Joe almost has to face this man to cement his legacy otherwise there will be doubts as to who was the best.

Kessler= better fight but smaller name.

Calzaghe wants American audiences. Big fights. Hes gonna easily take out Manfredo then go for maybe Hopkins or Taylor. Kessler is a pointless opponent. Joe needs the big names and Kessler is not one of them. He is done with fighting good fighters, he needs the best and the big names. Knocking out Manfredo will get him noticed.
