i'm so torned in this fight, one of the big reasons for me leaning towards Miranda is seeing Green getting so easily tagged last year..
Miranda: "Children Should Not Watch The Green Fight"

I think Green can't handle a single punch with his jaw as he got himself knocked down and about out at the same time with fighting some old sparring partner, but with Miranda he might as well call it quits now.
Green will get obliterated this fight and you heard it first!Comment

Miranda has all the makings--if he can beat Green and Taylor, we have ourselves a new legit star in boxing, not a contrived/forced star.Comment

Well, in Green's mind I'm sure he points to the fact that all these things were said when he was put against Codrington (too early, he'll get KO'd), and that is fair to an extent. Miranda is a different beast, but I don't think he is so without question to imply that Green cannot win. I will not make a pick on this fight, but if I was forced to I guess I'd go with the flow and take Miranda by KO, but this isn't certain. I mean has Miranda been tested truly? I haven't seen the Abraham fights, but by all accounts Abraham was never a serious threat to really hurt Miranda even if he did win some rounds because of the shape he was in early. Then the only other two live guys he's fought (Howard Eastman was coming off two straight losses; Sherwin Davis had been KO'd by Peter Manfredo Jr) are hardly impressive. Finally, what I think is most important in Green's favor, keep in mind that he is the naturally bigger fighter here. When the supposed pure power puncher is the smaller man in a fight that usually is a sign that perhaps his seeming advantage may be dulled a little bit. Also, it isn't like Green doesn't pack a punch himself. Still, with all that said, Green's resume isn't outstanding either (though it is better than Miranda's), if forced I would take Miranda by KO, but all that is the reason I really won't make a true prediction.
As a side, what would be an interesting matchup after this regardless of the outcomes of their fight, in my opinion at least, would be Green vs Manfredo. That could be a fun fight.Comment

Miranda reminds me of Sam Peter. Both are supposedly huge punchers, but their power is only evident against low tier opponents. Once they step up, their power comes to question.Comment
