How to prove to a friend that BOXING is better then UFC

Dont be a moron by attempting it for one.

You cant PROVE that Boxing is better than UFC, nor can it be proved the other way. Taste is subjective my friend.

You could point them in the direction of the all-out non-stop-action 12 round wars that you occasionally find in boxing and not so often in UFC if you want to try and educate them on how exciting boxing can be, but thats about all you can do.

Tell them that both sports require a great deal of athleticism and skill and therefore they both command your respect, and their athletes your admiration. Then point out that the UFC is the worst example of MMA on the planet and that CHuck Liddel wouldn't last ten seconds against a top boxer who he outweighs by 50 lbs.

Seriously UFC sucks, Pride is ten times better.

None of my mates at college like ufc, when i asked them if they watched it they asked if that was the sport where they rolled around humping each other.

you shouldn't even care or waste your time, when it comes to something like this on which you or someone thinks boxing or ufc is better than the other, it's like pepsi or coke. people like what they like and that's about it, nothing you can do other than shed some light on the situation so they aren't completely blind.

i like any kind of fighting sport but boxing rules them all. the history of boxing alone is far greater than damn near any sport around. all the way from fencing to bareknuckle boxing to present day boxing. there is so much great culture and history in the life of boxing it's mind blowing.


ufc is not even out of their infancy stage, they have a very long way to go before it can be revered like boxing, and while they're trying to catch up boxing is still moving along.

sad thing is boxing is being run into the ground by bad boxing politics and other extremely shady elements of the great sport. being dragged through the mud so to speak.

Yeah, I watched it. I thought it was good. Even the female match was good.

I didn't like how the Gracie vs. Shamrock fight ended, but oh well.
