He just proved he couldn't make at a domestic/ average european level and now you expect that he could at world level?

How do you come up with this?

If Peter played his cards right, he could take that huge step aside fee for Vitali, win the interim WBO title, and then be guarenteed to fight the winner of Vitali and Maskaev and the WBC title.

It would even make it that much closer to unifying the titles...
No because Briggs would still be WBO champ. Briggs is not retiring, and the interim title will not become the regular one.

Is this another ****** Audley thread or is Sultan still looking for a (credible) opponent? What about Juan Carlos Gomez, Eddie Chambers, Tye Fields, JD Chapman, Matt Skelton, Tony Thompson, Oliver Mccall, or even Michael Moorer? Just somebody who has alittle more credability than Javier Mora. I doubt if this card will even sell out the arena.

i thought the point of the interim title was to claim the challenger the champion until tey squared off again with the real champ?

The interim is guarenteed a challenge with the real champ when he is in a state to fight again, and if he never is, he takes the belt...at least thats what I thought

so Peter would be guarenteed a shot at the WBO and WBC titles. i know its not happenening, but why cant stuff like this happen in boxing...itd be perfect for Peter.

Sell out the arena? Mike Tyson has more chances to sell MSG masturbating than this poor excuse of a fight.
