There are moves to prevent locks, just ask Fedor. Fedor squirms out of positions that are great to watch.

Didn't Gracie back down from Ken Shamrock in one of their matches?

I also noticed with "Gracie" family fighters that they can have problems with people that know how to strike.

If Gracie comes in, he can get caught.

Especially Tyson, who is a hyper mother ****er. And yes, it does matter because that energy can prevent you from getting locked up.
      I just don't see it.

Gracie would/could lay down on the ground on his back and force Mike to go to the ground. What is he going to do? Try and stomp him? GnP?

Think about it. He's not going to come at Tyson....WTF he'd spider monkey around and the minute Tyson even attempted to charge in, or fake he could sprawl or latch on to an arm for the Kimura.

What about Tyson's speed of hand. How are you going to catch a combo punch? Oh, I mean "Catch" as in tangle up, not "catch" as in taking one to the face or ribs.

I don't think Tyson would ever be balanced to throw anything resembling him teeing off on Huge fat guys like he did throughout his career.

I mean talking stand up fighting it's a joke looking at Lou Savarese.

Look at combat....you're limiting big guys to a stand up fight where they're forced to be balanced while throwing a punch. I've never seen them throw elbows, head butts, knees, lower leg kicks, kicks to the balls, charlie horses...OVER AND OVER.

Hell let's face it on the street anything goes....so that means anything goes for Tyson right? He showed his tendency to rush in and bite when fighting and I'm not saying he's not a MMA worthy combatant because that would be ridiculous.....because he knows of both. But where was it....that he demonstrated his combat ability OUTSIDE of Marques de Queensbury rules?

Oh and where I mentioned "leg kicks, balls shots etc"

Hopkins kind of proves me wrong because I think he hit Keith Holmes with about 200 low blows and he was still standing.

            Nonetheless you get my drift.

If you train a 13 year old Tyson in MMA, that means you teach him everything he needs to know.

That means, Tyson will have the ability to kick, knee, elbow, grapple, etc.

And for your comments about who he faced, ****, you are right, he faced a bunch of "Fat Guys" ...Wow, what a dumb piece of **** you are.

I should just go along and talk about how Gracie was accused of picking his opponents, and when he stepped up, he got his ass beat. But ****, that would mean I am being ******, and don't know ****, so I will leave it to you to act like the dumb ****.

Buster Douglas was fat when he fought Mike?

Notice you didn't mention Ruddock and Bruno, why?

Oh, I might be wrong with Ken Shamrock comment, I think I was thinking of someone else.

Never much of a fan of Ken's, looked like he juiced after his loss to Gracie.

the reason mma fighters fight for 10,000 purses is because they dont have the skill to fight for 1,000,000 purses. theres a reason even the best fighters there have losses at a higher percentages than the best boxers. boxing is a science that has been continually perfected for 150 years. extreme fighting is still in its infancy. gracie would never be able to get close enough to tyson to apply a submission hold. with those small gloves he would get his ribs shattered or head caved in the first few moments of the fight. if submissions were the dominant technique no one would practice striking.
