Just got back from PBF-DLH presser

Your statement is true but the DLH vs Tito fight was damn near 10 years ago when DLH was in his prime (1999 I believe). He was about 26 or 27 years old then & was an ACTIVE welterweight. He's 34 now, not really that active, & has been as high as 160 lbs. Even in the Mayorga fight you can tell DLH isn't the same at all. His hand speed & foot speed have slowed tremendously. He showed that he still has good power, but Mayorga was able to hit him often which he never would've been hit with those kind of punches 8 years ago. A fighter with the hand & foot speed of Mayweather is going to give DLH all types of hell. If Sweet Pea gave DLH hell when DLH was in his prime, he's in alot trouble against a PRIME Mayweather. Now if this was the DLH from 8 years ago that Mayweather's fighting, it would be a completely different story.nice comparison. you failed to to point out the boxing lesson dlh administered to trinidad regardless of how the judges thought dlh should have fought. what you have is the best defensive fighter with the fastest hands and best footwork facing a 6 division champion who will hit him harder than hes ever been hit, is much bigger and stronger and seems to have the motivation he has sometimes lacked in previous fights. if size and power were equal floyd would eazily beat oscar, maybe ko him, but thats not the case. as far as not winning big fights, you dont earn titles in 6 divisions by fighting little fights. they both have the chance to beat the other its just a matter of how the fight unfolds. oscar has faced fighters close to what floyd brings to the table, floyd has never fought anyone close to what dlh brings to the table. i believe the power floyd will be facing will be too much to overcome. oscar by ko middle to late rounds.Comment

Floyd just gets under my skin but what you said is 100% correct.Comment

Floyd may act like an obnoxious clown, but I agree with one thing he said.
"I'm not going to sit up there and give you the same old boring interview".
Almost every time I hear Oscar speak in public, it's basically some rehearsed speech.

Oh by the way. Those who don't know Spanish Oscar said in Spanish, "Come May 5th I'm gonna beat this snot nose kid's ass". He looks genuinely pissed to.Comment
