i cant stand mayweather but you dont win titles in 4 different divisions by being a good fighter. you do it by being a great fighter. the only fighter or fight he pulled out of was margarito, preffering to fight baldomir for the same amount of money, which may not be brave but it is smart since margarito is much more dangerous. mayweather is a 30yo kid but he is a great fighter and hes fought some of the best in 4 divisions. whether you hate him or really hate him, he is for realComment

I'll tell you...the only reason Floyd Mayweather isn't given more credit is because he doesn't have KO power. If Floyd had thunder in his fists he'd be one of the most recognized fighters in a very long time, not just by boxing fans but by the general public. He had enough power to be rough down in the lower weights, but moving up has made him rely on skill. Skill many people fail to appreciate. Anyone who posts here saying Floyd is ****- I know they just stared watching boxing in the last few years. Otherwise, they would remember the dominating performances he had at lightweight- everything before popping up in weight. If only he had KO power these guys that just started paying attention to him post-Gatti would realize....
He may not be the best thing since sliced bread but he's a damn good boxer. Pound for pound at the moment- and deserved. We'll see how he does. The downfall of many boxers has been moving too high up in weight.Comment
