Sprott will bring some fear into the ring. When you have that fear your senses are more alert and you raise your game. He's also got quick hands and, like me, he's been preparing seven weeks. I need to be careful because I'm only one fight away from retirement.

If by "Did something for himself" you mean bullied people on the street and ending up in juvenile facilities then ok.....yeah.
Sure he started boxing late and he also started running his mouth late. He came out of nowhere and given the fact that he did win the Olympic Gold......people think he was automatically president of boxing.
He never was the next big thing, and he was more of a hypejob than anything. When people are fed talk about "Unification" and "Seeking redemption" for losses or roadbumps and then they get knocked out by Michael Sprott.....it simply shows the quality of fighter they are.
Sure Audley worked hard to get where he is today, but only a total moron would keep thinking he's going to unify the title or think he's an appealing fighter to watch fight. In fact.....I don't see why he has so many fans. What fight was it they liked? And don't tell me his knockout of Danny Williams recently....I'm talking before that because people were clinging to his nuts a long time ago. He's a big, lumbering, slow handed heavyweight who relies on imposing his size to win fights.
His heart is questionable.....as exposed by Guinn and Williams in their respective fights where Audley simply folded and seemed to not even show up. I don't think it's "exciting" to watch a guy go about the motions.....not throwing punches or either getting knocked out....and then hearing him talk **** about how good a fighter he could be as well as his fans agreeing. I think it's a delusional fan train that started because of something outside of Audley's in the ring accomplishments which aren't that impressive.
22 fights at the age of 36. So I don't want to hear about how he's a prospect and still has a shot, or he's so different than all of the other hard working guys in the division that deserve the types of recognition he gets.
I'm not sure if it's solely limited to the British media, but it's annoying and redundant. I haven't seen hype like that since Michael Grant and we all know what happened to him as well as Fraudley.

God blessed him with the size and skills to be heavyweight champion.... and he did NOTHING with them....he sorta say there hoping they would mature on their own like a fine wine.... he wasted god-given talent than so many boxers never have.. and wasted it by being a giant vagina diguised as a boxer.Comment
