I think with only two months in the books and several high profile super fights coming up, it's way too early to label any fight as the "fight of the year."

Why does everyone think this is FOTY???

It was terribly onesided... It was JUST because of that AWSOME 2nd round.

The rest of the fight was almost TOO onesided, and probably should have been stopped late round 1/ early round 2.

Earl took far to much punishment

true.. but.. mayweather vs de la hoya mite just be a bore'fest..

hatton vs castillo mite be a UD either way...

i dunno about fight of the year, but that was a pretty good one.

i think graham earl gets the award for biggest display of heart of the year.

I agree! Great fight but MGuigan and a lot of posters here hav went over the top! Damn good tho!
