cottos chin??

I love cotto he is one of my favorite fighters. But m am i the only one who thinks he has not a bad chin but not a good one either. I would bet money cotto will lose his first fight by ko......Do you agree do you think im a completely ******ed or think its just wrong??

Nah i dont think he has chin problems,ive got nearly all his fights and he tuk alot of shots earlier in his career and eat them,in the Corley fight he had 2 bust his ass 2 make the limit,and the shot he caught was right on the temple,not the chin,it would put anyone on ***** street
in the Torres fight Cotto walked into alot of punches and Torres has got lethal punching power,but Cotto took them all like a warrior and recovered,i think weight drain had alot 2 do with it,in the Quintana fight he walked right thru him

I think it had alot to do with his weight. Cotto seems to have even more pop in his punches and the abiltiy to absorb more punishment. With that said Zab still has the speed and power to ko Cotto or any Welter for that matter. If the Judah that showed up against Floyd shows up we are in for a great fight.

Well I admit I haven't seen much of Cotto's earlier fights, but I think there is still a question mark over his chin right now. Weight drain might have been an issue but he has moved up in weight now and opponents are also going to hit harder. In his defence he has come back strong from having wobbly legs and won well like the tough hombre he is. I think he will still knock out Judah because Zab's chin is even more questionable.

For me the jury's still out.

Cant really fault u for that then. Trust me tho his chin WAS rock! I THINK he will be back to the Cotto of old now he is at 147! At least i hope so

Corley,toress,and Abduallev, all had cotto hurt at one point or another ,and mind you these werent all shot's to the chin corley rocked cotto with a shot to the temple and a torress hit him with one behind the ear so can cotto take a good shot in general is the real question.

Cotto's chin is good. Not rock solid, but able to absorb quite a bit of punishment.
