If you recall Brewster / Wlad.. for 4 rounds Brewster was Wlad's punching bag..

Brewster got nothing on Rahman.. and Rahman SUCKS!
I could easily see brewster getting to rahman later in the fight as he did krasniqui. thats assuming he has anything left. rahman is very vulnerable later in fights as his stamina sucks. if he goes nuts like wlad did then it could be earlier

Buddy Mcgirt mentioned in a recent interview that Brewster is currently around 240-245 pounds. But he weighed in at 280-290 during his long lay off.

Kali Meehan was giving Brewster all he can handle. He can be outboxed.
brewster is very beatable so long as you respect his chin and dont blow your wad on him but rahman doesnt have a good chin or stamina and that could cost him here

If Maskaev could knockout Rahman, Brewster will destroy him. If an aggressive Brewster shows up, Rahman goes to sleep like Jeremy Williams did against Sam Peter.
oh please. brewster made no adjustments with wlad. he simply showed tremendous heart by absorbing tremendous punishment and wlad obliged by throwing too many bombs and just totally gassed himself. brestwer couldnt get anything going until wlad couldnt even hold his hands up he was so tired. you could have blown on wlad at that point

This would be a big mismatch in skill. If Rahman fought a good fight (let alone a great or perfect one) he'd win 10 rounds to 2. Or 9 to 1, however many rounds it is. The problem is that Rahman rarely fights what should be a good fight for him, and he obviously can be knocked out, so this is an intriguing matchup regardless of the seeming talent gap.

I just watched this fight today and while Brewster didn't land many shots, each time he landed it was a power shot. Each time one of them landed, Wlad got more tired. Wlad threw everything he had and Brewster kept coming - Wlad is not used to someone not respecting his power and continuing to come forward. Wlad's demise was a combination of his lack of heart, chin, and stamina. Those three qualities that Wlad didn't have much of, Brewster had a lot of. Wlad also continuously hit and clinched, and was warned by the referee several times to stop holding and leaning on Brewster. The slow motion replay of the knockout shows Brewster landing some very clean, hard shots.

Each time Rahman's chin has been tested, it has failed. I don't see this time being any different. If Brewster lets his hands go, Rahman has no chance. Nothing he can throw will stop Brewster, and if he gets hit with even one power shot from Brewster the night will be over. If Brewster throws even half of what he did against Lyakhovich, I can't even imagine what would happen to Rahman.

I dont agree. wlad simply threw way too many shots for a 6'6 240 lb heavyweight. it appeared to me that wlad thought brewster would be an easy 3 round fight so he just tried running him over and ran himself over in the process and brewster took advantage. brewster did show tremendous heart and courage,,,I give him that

the problem with brewster is will he let his hands go like that? sometimes he seems to pace himself too much. I do think he gets to rahman eventually but he's been in a lot of wars and inactive for a while so its hard to say if he'll be the same fighter. Im hoping he is. I'd so love for him to beat rahman. I cant stand that guy. I'll never forget all the trash talking he did to lewis before the rematch and then he gets ktfo,,same thing with his fight with maskeav, the guy is a punk. brewster in 7 rounds is my call

Rahman is pure ****, unless Brewster got hurt more than we all know in his last fight, I see him knocking Rahman out in 6-8 rounds.
