I see your point, but this is Mosley we're talking about, not Mayweather or Winky or another guy who is known to have ego issues with being a co-feature. Mosley seems like the exception to the rule, willing to take a backseat (and a little less money than usual) to two big names to fight a lesser name (still thinking Cintron) as the co-feature.

Besides, this would probably turn into a double main event PPV and be promoted as such. The posters would surely have all four fighters featured, much like the DLH-Sturm/Hopkins-Allen III PPV. Anytime you can put the names Hopkins, Wright and Mosley on the same poster you do it. The other televised fights would probably be throw-aways with Rock Allen, Abner Mares or another Bautista fight for showcase purposes to save money, because no doubt the two big fights will be pricy. But I think it's possible, and it's a great idea seeing as BHop-Winky is not a dream style match up at all.

Big mistake, at this point in his career Shane has no business being on anybodies undercard.

Would make a great undercard fight, and well worth the purchase of the entire PPV.

Let's remember that to the big wigs at HBO and Oscar & co. at Goldenboy promotions these pay per view fight stuff their pockets. This is how they make their money. I would think they must have only three possible thoughts if they want to put Mosley on the Hopkins-Wright under card:

1.) Putting Mosley on the card allows them to advertise the fight in such a way that they feel they'll make more money than Mosley being on his own, seperate pay-per-view.

2.) Hopkins-Wright needs the boost in publicity Shane can give it...that it won't sell well alone.

3.) There is no one pay-per-view worthy for Mosley to fight, so he may as well keep busy and have a good showing on the under card of a highly watched fight.

If one of those three isn't in their reasoning I'm going to assume they put Shane on his own PPV and make extra money.

This is mostly in line with my thinking. Shane can't sell his own PPV, no way. Look at the crowd for the Collazo fight...yikes. Any Mosley PPV has to be with a marquee name with a loyal fan base like Cotto or, of course, DLH. If Cintron is the guy he fights next, putting it under Winky-Hopkins makes perfect sense to me. After all, even a Mosley-Cintron WCB headliner wouldn't do too much better than Mosley-Collazo, so why not do this instead?

I love the idea and I hope it happens...but again, ONLY if the opponent is Cintron.

Shane fought in PPV co-features with his fight against Estrada being on the same PPV with Margarito-Cintron and then he fought Cruz on the Barrera-Peden card which was Goldenboy promoted. Thus, I guess its certainly possible however those two cards had something uniquely different. Both had co-features with one star fighter taking the lion's share of the money and then the opponents making significantly less. You know Hopkins and Wright are going to make a fortune fighting each other, Shane will be in the 7 figures, and a champion like cintron isn't going to fight for FNF type money. That's why I am skeptical but clearly Wright or Hopkins was goign around saying it so who knows. I will tell you this, admittedly as a Shane fan, I would not buy Wright-Hopkins normally but if Molsey fought Cintron I would buy the card. So maybe there is a financial reason to do this if enough fence-sitters like myself were willing to pony up with Shane fighting
