    Mayweather Expectations?

Forget about if you like the guy or not and forget about if you think he will win or not. Just honestly tell me what do you expect to see from him vs Oscar or even more specifically, at 154.

Do you think he will look super slow with the extra weight or do you think he will look super fast compared to the big guys at that weight? Do you think he will look like "little" Floyd and have a small body or do you think he will get with a trainer and look ripped and filled out? Do you think that he will be weaker at 154 or do you think that the extra weight may actually give him more of a power punch? What do you guys think he will way in at and what do you guys think he will weigh in the ring?

Basically, Im asking you how do you think Floyd's body will respond at that weight? I dont think anyone knows for sure. Its just so weird because he clearly doesnt belong there at all. The guy could probally make 135 right now and should be fighting at 140. I still say he doesnt get enough credit for fighting at these bigger weights when he is probally the smallest guy in boxing, pound for pound. Since 130 he has seemed way smaller then anyone in the division he goes too. He's just a little guy. I hope it doesnt catch up to him in this one. I fear the weight far more then I fear Oscar and Oscar is a damn good fighter.

I honestly wouldnt be shocked about whatever I see from Floyd because 154 is so out there. The guy has never even weighed over 150 before and even that weight was just very recent. Oscar will probally be like 170 in the ring while Floyd is 150 but we wont know because you know Oscar will be a ***** like always and not let HBO weigh them so he wont look like he has a huge advantage. Part of me thinks Floyd is going to look solidly built, look very sharpe, and very fluid. Then part of me thinks he's going to look flat chested, super slow, and look very weak. I just dont know but its more about the weight then Oscar

He will still be faster than DLH I think. His reflexes are better anyway. I don't think Floyd is gonna look to punch the hell out of DLH, just box and move. He walks around at 150, and I think he'd probably weigh in around 152 or 153.

I think Floyd knows how to move up in weight correctly, and he will have Roger with him, since the fight is in May. The suspension will be over.

Nice Serena pic in the avatar. I highly doubt Floyd is gonna be looking for any kind of KO going in. I doubt either fighter will be stopped with a body shot, also the Hopkins was at middleweight.

Floyd's body actually looks healthier at junior welterweight and welterweight to me. At the lower weights he looked more drawn to me- less lithe than other fighters. Obviously he won't be putting on fat to move up to 154- it'll be all muscle. What will adding 7 pounds of muscle do for him? Well, it can't hurt your punching power....though the extra force behind his punches could shatter his brittle hands in the very first round.

What do I expect from Floyd? He's not dumb. He won't trade with Oscar, he'll stick and move....play defense. I expect him to eat a few good, solid punches from Oscar and prove to everyone he has a good beard. I think he'll draw old man Oscar deep into the late round by being defensive and hope to eek out the decision by working after round 5.

About his future at 154? If he wins against De La Hoya he'll fight Cory Spinks and attempt to pick up that belt. Then he'll try and fight Winky, win or lose against Bernard. Finally, he'll fight a Sugar Shane that has aged another year or year and a half.

If Mayweather beats Oscar his fight schedule will be as follows:

Mayweather -De La Hoya @ 154
            Mayweather - Spinks @154
            Mayweather - Wright @ 154
            Mayweather - Mosley @ 147

            If Mayweather loses against Oscar:

            Mayweather - De La Hoya @ 154
            Mayweather - Mosley @147
Mayweather - Hatton @ 147 (He'll draw a weaker, smaller Hatton up to Welter)
Mayweather- Spinks @154 (Should Cory still have a title Mayweather will attempt another fight at Junior Middle now that the defeat to Oscar is almost two years gone)

Overall predictions are that if Mayweather beats De La Hoya he'll stick at the weight to pick up a belt at 154, fight Wright for a big payday, and then drop back down to take on men he sees as easy prey- an older Mosley who may have had another loss by now and anyone else he can pad his resume with.

If he loses he'll drop straight back down to Welterweight and go for a big payday in Mosley, then immediately attempt to draw up a smaller Hatton to Weltwerweight and punish him.

I think he runs a very serious risk of ketting KO'd
I thinkhe is too small DLH has a serious height and reach advantge..
and if CHOP CHOP could wobbel him at 140.. what is he going to do when DLH connects..??? and make no mistake.. DLH WILL connect

In short I think he is TOO small to fight at 154..
