The knockout was good on Mora's part...but this was a guy who was just totally out of his element in there with a decent fighter...I call Mora decent because that is exactly what he is.

You say "All the guys he creamed or "outclassed" THREW ZERO ****ING PUNCHES. Almost like they were frozen in fear or something" - Maybe because the guy throwing back is a bull. Taylor is real strong...he should be fighting at 168 he is HUGE for his weightclass. Ouma threw plenty of punches and didnt even make a dent in Taylor. Taylor won about 9 rounds on my card. Mora doesn't have the skillset of Wright to make it past 10 rounds...I guarantee that.
I refuse to believe that Joppy stalked Taylor with his hands down because Taylor was such a bull. All Taylor did was patter him with combinations while Joppy was trying to prove some ****** point or something by clowning. That was also a case where one guy just ****ing folded.

I'll give Taylor credit in that he did "bull" Marquez....but Marquez was fighting when Taylor was playing tether ball in his recess. That's more of a case where a guy working at the morgue felt like working one of the stiffs.

Sure......Ouma. Dude Ouma is 5'8 and belongs nowhere near middleweight. He was blown up and sure he has the style to give Taylor problems but you're forgetting that he's not 6'0 and a natural 168 lber like Sergio Mora is.

What I meant by "bull" was that Taylor is big, strong and athletic. Hard to hurt (although the funny thing is he did get stunned by the Winkster a few times) and he is crafty enough to get by with below average skills.

I agree with you about Marquez. Marquez shouldn't of been in there.

But you calling Mora a natural 168 lber. That is complete garbage. Mora has been weighing in for fights at 160 at weights like 158 and just under the MW limit. He fought the Turk at 158....He would probably do alot better at Jr middleweight. He would still get outclassed by the top dogs there, however. Anyway, Mora's size and reach is not an issue. He is going to have to get inside Taylor and use angles and work alot to the body and head. He likes to stay outside and he sure as hell aint going to outbox Taylor.

I look forward to this fight simply because Taylor will silence all of the haters. I predict a knockout...this is a complete mismatch brought to you in part by Dibella Promotions.

        Mora is skinny as hell.

I'm more than sure his BMI is way under what it's supposed to be and if he ate a cheeseburger he would blow up to his real weight which should be around 175. If you look at him from the side......he looks like a Cardboard Silhouette. I suppose it's an error to say he's a "natural 168 lber" on my behalf but I moreso meant frame wise. Hopkins you and I both know is not a natural middleweight. There's no way in hell, he openly stated that he starved himself and kept his weight down...and that he was never a big eater to begin with. I think that's just on his part because you can see his skull...that's how skinny he is, much like Mora.

I don't think it's a damn mismatch and you can't convince me otherwise. I'll state it again......ANYONE who throws punches is not an immediate underdog against Taylor in my book and especially not a fresh guy who has aspirations of one day becoming a full fledged star.

Fair enough. I guess it is also fair to say that Hopkins is a natural light heavyweight. 6'1'' I believe he is, starved down to Middleweight. Sounds a lot like Taylor huh?

I still dont buy your reasoning. Ouma could throw punches and he didn't put a dent in Taylor's defense. Mora is the same....he has more of a skillset but he is less active, punches like a girl, and is much less experienced then Ouma. All these facts point to a Taylor beat down. You better eat some humble pie when this fight comes off, just as I will if Taylor loses.

            Yeah Yeah.

You can say he punches like a girl all you want...but he doesn't. He's just not a knockout puncher and he has enough pop to keep people off him and win the fight. He reminds me of a slightly more mobile modern day Mexican Jake Lamotta and I'm not going to make laughable comparisons but Mora could do what Lamotta did to Robinson.

Oh and no, Mora's ****ing chin is nowhere near Lamotta's quality.

                Nice touch with the banana.

Taylor won't be Champ forever and that icon will be obsolete.

You know, I agree that Taylor is still far more flawed and green than he should be as champion. I also feel, though, that he is a very large man and can use his athleticism to win fights even where his skills fail him. I agree with you, he can't be champion forever. He doesn't strike me as someone with longevity. I'll be very, very surprised if Mora is the one to take that championship, though. Hopkins would have killed Mora, Wright would have made him look silly...and yet Taylor, while doing nothing stellar, used his natural strength to carry him against these men where his flaws made him vulnerable. I don't think Mora could have gotten past those two.
