for a fighter that depends on technical ability, speed and reflexes especially at this weight I don't think Zab fighting twice a year is quite enough. He will be fighting for the 1st time since a 1 year lay off opponent ? which may or may not let him shake off the rust. This will to me be a big component of this fight and not an unfair criticism. that being said I would not be surpised if Cotto does get tagged and floored, zab is good and can hit hard and Cotto is overly aggressive early on and Im still not confident he has a good chin.

well i think that Cotto is abit overrated. he is a good fighter but not what people make up to be.

most of the people he fought are propects and vetran so many of his win depend on what the other guy there are going to do. Torres won a title but some calm it was a gift deiscion. and the time he fought Cotto he was a replacment for Branco took it in short notice

We can debate Zab's heart or his discipline, but I figure the guy is going to keep his **** together.

I hope there's alot of talk that Zab will fade in the fight, or that he has no chin.

I hope Zab hears every ****ing word from here until June.

I highly doubt Zab's motivation will be from criticism, he's a pro and been around long enough to get used to it. He is fast and a southpaw tho with some power, at welterweight he has tko'd cosme rivera, wayne martell, and corey spinks at jr welter he had a very high ko percentage tho most were b caliber fighters.

On Cotto being flawed, he does have some flaws, strengths and weaknesses. Im sure a lot of people picked up on them but the interesting thing about the guy is he seems to take on a variety of difficult opponents and finds a way to win usually pretty convincingly and keep improving. You apparently are a big Judah fan or want to see Cotto get beat for some reason, whatever I just wanna discuss the fight. I don't have a miguel cotto poster on the wall over my bed but I would say Im a fan. The guy has an exciting style of fighting, and I respect the fact that he has a humble, grounded personality. Zab needs to win this fight or have an impressive showing even if he loses or his carreer looks to be taking a turn for the worse. I think Zab should have chose someone like Cintron to make as opposed to Cotto but we will have a great fight to watch

            Cheers dude!
I knew about the Calderon fight, how mad is that! Ivan and Cotto at the same weight!
Calderon worshipped in PR as well? The boy got some sick skillz! He is one of my favourite fighters
