No by useless I mean an extremely VULNERABLE fighter.

I have a question. Why didn't Wlad's people rematch with Purrity, even up to a year later?? I can't think of another example when a young prospect lost like that and his people didn't put him in again to erase the record stain.

When Sanders was active and dropped the WBO title, Wlad said he was more interested in the title than Sanders. When Wlad had the option of fighting Brewster or Byrd when he was number 1 contender for both titles, he chose the former super-middleweight, who he'd dominated years before. And WHAT is the excuse for Klitschko fighting the dreadful Castillo instead of giving Williamson a rematch?? That was not a clear win at all.

I'm not one who claims he has "no heart" but he surely hasn't shown a tendency to jump into rematches with guys who've beaten him. Lewis took Rahman to court to get his rematch. That is called having some balls. Wlad is useless and has no balls. He will get knocked out in a few fights - I guarantee it. He is ****ting bricks just thinking about maybe having to face Samuel Peter once more - and that isn't saying much.

How come Tszyu never rematched Phillips?

It's called a road bump, and superior fighters hit them.

      You must be joking.

Chris Byrd was generally regarded as one of if not the best heavyweight Champion and he was the longest reigning Champ. Who cares if Wlad beat him once......that fight was YEARS before Byrd went on a streak defending the IBF title.....and he beat some tough names might I add.

Williamson? why would he give williamson a rematch? The fight wasn't competitive and all Williamson did was run, and land 1 right hand that flash floored Wlad. It's a good thing the headbutt stopped the fight or else it would have been even more jogging from TOS and then Wlad K him TFO.

      That's ridiculous.

People who don't have balls stay on the canvas. Wlad has risen to his feet several times in his career.....twice against Sanders, three times against Peter, and when he gassed out against Puritty....(and let me remind you that's the only reason he lost the fight.) he was trying to stay on his feet despite total physical exhaustion.

I think Audley should pull a Judah and get a big fight right after a loss. Just fight Wlad next.

Wlad has hit three "road bumps". Like Lamon Brewster??? That fight was only a few years ago people, and Steward was in his corner I believe then too. And besides some booted confidence, I don't see anything in Wlad's repetoire now that he didn't have vs Monte Barrett and Axel Shultz years ago under Klaus or whatever that german trainer's name is, besides clinching more and being less aggressive. He is still the same one dimensional offensive fighter with lousy defensive and lousy inside fighting. Not to mention *oh wait - I already did mention this) a shaky chin and questionable stamina.

And you missed my entire point. I'm saying, he didn't rematch those opponents in the short period after he lost/struggled with them.

My question was . . .why didn't Klitschko rematch Purrity in 1999? He was really going to wait for his brother to do it for him? Give me a break. Imagine how much less people would bring up the Purrity fight if he'd immediately rematched Purrity and given him a beating . . . .pacing yourself is a part of boxing. Does this mean Ali-Foreman was a fluke b/c George punched himself out?

My point is that Klit panics under pressure. Mediocre heavies like Morrison and Ruddock at least fought back with brio which is something Klit does not seem capable of. He lacks a warrior spirit. if he had thrown ONE right hand in the first round against Brock he would have leveled Brock - who did not have his legs underneath him and was totally off balance. But he's just to damn timid & cautious.

I see this one going the distance, as they both have solid chins.

wlad is the best heavyweight in the world at the moment. he may not have a granite chin but he has heart to come back from multiple knockdowns to win, this is something alot of people lack.

Audley probably still has a chance to fight wlad but i don't think wlad will take it to seriously; if sprott can KO audley with one hook so can wlad!

Sure but that much he had to be taught. His natural tendency was to throw the whole house out right away, and he has learned to be patient.

Also will they sanction this bout or will it be prevented out of a concern for poor Wladimir's health?

                  Serious responses only please.
the funny thing is.. he may be 100% against wlad.. for arguments sake say he beat wlad. in his next low level fight title defence. against an unknown, he would get SPARKED...
