Did anybody else notice Powell was wearing Windy brand gloves tonight. Windy gloves are designed for muaythai. I know here in Vegas the four gloves allowed are Winning, Everlast, Reyes, and Grant. I guess New York is alright with them. I dont remember seeing a fighter wear them in a fight before. This would be like seeing someone in K1 wearing Grant gloves. Basically they are the same thing but different you know?

I never seen them used before, no problem its just weird seeing them. Like I said it would be like watching a kickboxing match and a guy is wearing Grant gloves.
Normally gloves used in kickboxing have more padding on the back of the hand than a normal boxing glove cause they block kicks.Comment
