    Windy gloves???

Did anybody else notice Powell was wearing Windy brand gloves tonight. Windy gloves are designed for muaythai. I know here in Vegas the four gloves allowed are Winning, Everlast, Reyes, and Grant. I guess New York is alright with them. I dont remember seeing a fighter wear them in a fight before. This would be like seeing someone in K1 wearing Grant gloves. Basically they are the same thing but different you know?

I never seen them used before, no problem its just weird seeing them. Like I said it would be like watching a kickboxing match and a guy is wearing Grant gloves.

Normally gloves used in kickboxing have more padding on the back of the hand than a normal boxing glove cause they block kicks.

There's actually been kickboxing matches where they wear Cleto Reyes boxing gloves along with Grant boxing gloves (only once with the Grant gloves though) and in K-1 ive only seen so far Hecho en Mexico Cleto Reyes boxing gloves.
