NEXT FIGHT: MIRANDA vs GREEN!!!! whoooooooo

im really pumped for this fight. Green is one of my newer favorites.

My only fear, is that the crowd is gonna only be there for cotto, and they'll be completely out of it for the GREEN-MIRANDA fight which is gonna be a FOTY candidate.

BUT Miranda trains there so i could be completely wrong.

Its a great matchup.


I see the first 3-4 rounds being slow and boring. Both guys weary of eachothers power.

BUT as soon as each guy realizes how easily they can land punches, it'll turn into a brawl.

However, Green could come out like he did CODRINGTON, and in that case the fight is a brawl from round 1

I will shocked if this fight goes the distance, dispite the fact that each guy has a lot of heart and a pretty decent chin

Well, that's just it. It'll depend on chin and heart. I don't know either too well though I've seen Miranda more than Green. I know they both throw bombs so it'll make for a good scrap. I'm down.

Miranda not only trains in Puerto Rico, he has made it his home. He proudly wears the Puerto Rican flag on his trunks. He is in the news in PR as much as Cotto is. The crowd is gonna be 12,000 strong screaming for Pantera. Green is gonna have to mentally beat the crowd before he even has a chance in hell to take on Miranda.

oh. Well Cotto is puerto rican so i just figured he was bigger.

cause if it fills out, and its that middle size, that placy is gonna be nuts.

Green's fought as a Light Heavyweight before. I think he'll take Miranda's punches a lot better than people think. Not to many. But enough to land his own. Green by mid-round stoppage.

Green showed that he wins because of his confidence- but when he charges in like he did against McCrary he can get his butt planted firmly on the canvas. I don't think McCrary is a serious puncher and he still put him down when Allan went in for the kill. If Green has a lapse like that against Miranda he'll be out for the night.

Green got caught with the worse punch a fighter can get caught with. A punch he never saw coming. It was good something like that happened to him early in his career. He was able to over come it and go on to win. I think he's learn from that mistake.

Theres no doubt the PR crowd will be hot, and the crowd adds to the event big time. I cant wait for it either.
