    Calzaghe Vs BHOP

If it ever did happen, is it 2 late now?, Would Calzaghe get the credit he deserves if he beat him, considering Hopkins is in his 40's now.

No matter who wins between these two, ppl will debate how much of a role the losers age played - and it'll be a valid point.

Just no way arround them both being likely past there primes.
So how are you ever gonna truly determine exactly how much credit the winner should be given?
Only if the loser moves on to have impressive wins afterwards can the age-factor with some justification be disregarded.

Both are WORLD CHAMPIONS at their respective ages..
I think this athletic life ends at 30 is a very oudated notion.. with todays medical and nutritional advances.. 30 is just hitting your prime.. and not just in BOXING but all sports..

IF HOPKINS beats WRIGHT, and CALZAGHE beats HOPKINS right afterward, then calzaghe will recieve more credit then if hed beaten HOPKINs in his prime.

Its sorta like a 2nd prime for hopkins it seems.

But if HOPKINS loses to WRIGHT, CALZAGHE will get a lot less credit

Hopefully WRIGHT wins, cause CALZAGHE-WRIGHT would be an AMAZING fight. A WAR even.

Calzaghe would beat Bhop imo, wright has the better chance of beating him.
Shame they are both ducking cal lol.
I think Calzaghe is past his prime more than bhop.

Defintley B_Hop,i dont think people understand Hop is at a defining time in his life and alot of his new leagcy lies on the line, many of us know B_Hop as only the Middleweight king who dominated for 12 years and was rudely, boastly and dos times dethroned and rejected from his crown! His back now and wants to be known ans something different, understand people that Winky will only be the 1st of atleast 1-2-3 more fights for the Exicutioner if all goes well, i know he'll dominate Winky and perferably fight Calzaghe next maybe even Roy (i wish)....AND DO to all as he did to Tarver (with the exception of roy) AND WOULD DO to Calzaghe and will do to Winky come July 21st

I don't see how anyone could want to see Winky against Calzaghe. Calzaghe is just too big and too skilled. He hits as hard as Taylor, but he's faster, a better boxer and bigger. He would have Winky in fits.

Joe Calzaghe really would make Bernard Hopkins look like a 42 year old man. I'd put money on a shutout points win for Calzaghe, although there'd no doubt be a few knockdowns in there, so about 120-105 would be close enough.

120-105 is a bit extreme, but Hopkins would have trouble winning rounds.
