Mayweather - De La Hoya (weight)

The fight is for Oscars WBC light middleweight title . Does anyone see this as being an issue for Floyd , since it's his first fight @ 154 ? DLH already owns a 2 1/2 " height , and 1 " reach advantage , and has fought as high as 160 . In my opinion , it usually doesn't work out well for the fighter gaining weight . Can anyone see Floyd being slowed down by the weight gain ?

    A question that doesn't require a answer.

It wont matter in this fight. Mayweather wont stop for a decent exchange the whole 12 rounds.

At this level, the size difference won't be that much. Gayweather is the same size as Zab, who is considered a full fledged Welter. DLH is really a Welter, just like Shane. The fight is even and the better man will win. They both started at 130 lbs, it's an even fight with no real matter in the size department. Floyd has fought Genaro Hernandez and Diego Corrales and Oscar has fought Whitaker and Shane. Watch those fight to get a feel for what they will look like when they are standing across from each other in that squared circle.

                To awnser the Question
In my opinion is the it will not matter to PBF. he is the best p4p fighter now. at 155 he will win in stoppage in the late rounds

The weight gain won't bother Floyd, IMO.

                    I would agree...

it's going down afterwards.. what may slow him down.

Happened to many fighters in the passed...

RJJ, Tarver to mention a couple as of the recent
