Obviously not each other, but Phillips is headlining FNFs this week and Thompson is having his first fight since his shockingly easy decision over Dom Guinn on FSN tonight. Verno is usually good for a show and maybe Thompson actually has something to bring to the dance, so they it might actually be a pretty all right night for free tv boxing. Verno is fighting (as far as I know) a complete journeyman in Eduardo Sanchez. Thompson is fight Sultan Ibragimov's brother, Timur, who is coming off being boringly outpointed by Calvin Brock.
