    Zab Judah one tough SOB?

It seems to my humble eyes that Zab Judah is a pretty tough bastard. I don't like him in the least. He throws little tantrums and seems like wasted talent. Still, these are a few of his recent opponents. Compare this to people fighting limited opposition like Floyd Mayweather.

He fought a dangerous Kostya Tszyu. That's good on the resume, right?

He fought Cory Spinks- a name thrown around as a possible Mayweather opponent- which people weren't all upset over, either.

Most recently he fought the pound for pound champion Floyd Mayweather.

    Now Miguel Cotto?

I'm not saying he wins these tough fights...I'm saying Zab doesn't seem to shy away from tough opponents. He seems to have at least one very dangerous fight a year- at least it appears that way- and many of the sports best fighters don't do that.

So, I leave it to you, winner or loser, is Zab Judah a tough bastard based on his opposition?

You can say that. Or maybe he's desperate each time to get somewhere bigger so he takes this big fights to get himself in the spotlight again and for future big paychecks. Eitherway for taking these type fights, I'd have to say he's tough mentally. **** he did get up twice against Kostya Tszyu which means no matter how ****ed up he was, he didn't want to lose.

Yeah. I mean just look at the names on his resume. Pretty solid stuff. He has major weaknesses and lost to many of those top guys he fought...but he did take the fights.

I dont think he deserves this fight. He is coming of two straight losses and a years inactivity......does this sound like a guy who is in line for a title shot to you?

Well, honestly, who was Malinaggi when Cotto fought him? He was a nobody who wasn't given a chance to win. Judah, on the other hand, is a name people know coming off a loss to the pound for pound champion. Not bad opposition comparatively.

Great opponent for Cotto. Bob Arum has done a stellar job in bringing Cotto along.

Baldomir was supposed to be a tune-up fight for Judah fighting the pound for pound champion- Mayweather. Floyd fought Mitchell while Zab fought Baldomir....but Zab lost.

When Cotto fought Malinaggi Paulie wasn't a tune-up for any specific fight. No more than every fight is a tune-up for Cotto.

I wouldn't call him tough. Talented and skilled yeah, but he's not known for his resilience, either physical or psychological.
