Many people talk **** about Margarito and im not a real fan, but really he takes on all comers. That's what a champion should do and he is proving everyone wrong by taking on Williams. He deserves as much credit as any other champion in any weight class.

Cotto is the prize for the Margarito-Williams winner, period.

Floyd will not fight any of these guys. He's got DLH and then Mosley if Mosley beats Cintron or whoever this summer. I can't envision any other fight for Floyd right now that he would want to take. Hence the retirement blather...

Floyd wants to be considered an all-time great, but even if he does beat DLH and then Mosley, those are two past-prime former P4Pers, not current P4P guys. Who has he beaten that were in their prime AND elite? JLC, maybe. Corrales, perhaps. Hernandez, I guess. Judah, well...

None of those guys were at the top of any P4P lists (or even close, really). That's why I say if he wants respect from real fans, he needs to fight Cotto and/or the Margarito-Williams winner at least...those three are in their primes now.

I would predict Mayweather to beat Williams and Margarito, but Cotto-Mayweather at 147 is a toss up IMO. I want that fight badly...

both Margarito & Cotto have got about the same chance against PBF, I'd give DLH & Mosley the best shot to outwork him(& DLH only cause it's at 154 & DLH wont stand infront of Floyd all night). As for the topic of the thread, there's too many potential big money fights at 147 for Mayweather, Margarito would have to beat at least Williams & Cotto to get in position to fight Mayweather & Mosley would still fight him first. I dont thik he would retire cause it would end whatever chance at a legacy he might have had, at the least I'd like to see him get some belts or unify at 154 or 147.
