170 lbs? Bad business move on Winky's part.

I favour the Winkster easily at 160 because Hopkins is too economical and Winky would outwork him but Hopkins looked great at 175. Very strong and a packed a little more power then I've usually seen from him. Tough matchup for Winky, IMO. He walks around at 190 - so he wont be cutting much weight but he wont be able to put a dent in Hopkins chin. Bad, bad matchup especially with Hopkins being the dirtiest fighter in the sport when inside and Winkster is going to have to get inside to win this bout.

Soliman,Taylor and Quartey ??? Yup. I know he has been swinging away. Problem is Soliman, Taylor and Quartey is not Bhops dude. Bhops is a very smart and agile fighter. There's no way Bhops can be drawn by Winky to fight his fight plan, Bhops will drag Winky to his gameplan not the other way around. Did you see how he made Tarver look like an amateur? Winky's gonna be chasing Bhops all night long buddy, while Bhops is running and clinching while wining round after round.

And consider the fact that Bhops weigh 174 in his last fight and Winky weigh
159 1/2 lbs. Have you ever thought how would the additional 10 lbs will affect Winky?

Bad move for winky. I think he can win. But winky is still looking for the big money fight with oscar. If he moves up in weight and wins, and oscar wins. I don't think winky could make it back down and fight at 154lbs. And I'm sure oscar has no plans to go back up to 160 pounds.

B-Hop wins this easily. Winky's lateral movement has been non-existent since the first Mosley fight, and I see his athleticism slowly degenerating. In the last fight all he did was stand and trade, and when Quartey threw his punches, he put up his guard. They both stood in front of each other the whole time, so it was easy for Winky to hit him, but B-Hop won't do this. He is a master at working angles as well as lateral and front-back movement. He's very elusive and looked remarkably fresh and agile in his last fight. Winky's peek-a-boo defense and his jab are still amazing, but his limited movement will enable B-Hop to tag him. Also, when you take into consideration that Winky is the naturally smaller guy, I just don't see him winning this fight at all.

Do you think that B-Hops age will have a factor in this fight?

Probably not. He looked amazing in the Tarver fight, and although Tarver and Wink are different styles in that Wink is more active, B-Hop showed enough agility in the Tarver fight that I consider it fair to asume that he'll be elusive enough to catch Winky off-guard.

I got Winky all the way, even if for some strange reason the fight was offered at 170 pounds, I got Winky.
