There is no official confirmation from Universum yet, but German heavyweight Luan Krasniqi tells local media in Stuttgart he takes on American Brian Minto in the headliner of Universumīs big show on March 17. Minto is of course well known in Germany after his one-sided beating of Axel Schulz. [details]

I'm going with Minto on this one; I think that he's improved considerably in 2006 and is 'hungrier' than Krasniqi. Also, he's coming off of a huge win(for him)against Axel Schulz in Germany where he totally dominated and demoralized his opponent. My prediction: a late round TKO by Minto.Comment

luan kransiqi is too good for brian minto. Luan krasniqi got good skills and a great heart as we saw against lamon brewsterComment

a year ago i would agree
knee injury is always bad news, plus no fights in 11 months
this one will go the distance and ill take the underdog minto in a close fightComment

im of the same mind......
however should be a good fight for both fighters, will really show where they are both at at the moment....is Krasniqi over it and not hungry, it Minto all guns blazing, etc, etc
look forward to it..
unless Krasniqi is 100% focussed and hungry, I think he will struggle.Comment

Anyone here watching this one? I'm interested in seeing how Minto does against this step-up in competition. I'm predicting him by TKO 8.Comment

I've always liked Luan, I think he's among the better heavyweights out there, but he's just never had a lot of fights against decent opposition, and when he did get a shot, he was caught late into the fight when ahead on the cards. It's now or never for him.Comment
