If he gets through Castillo...
Floyd Mayweather
"That's obviously the big one. From Kostya Tszyu, there's no real jump from there, other than Floyd Mayweather really.
"Obviously, I'd have nothing to lose. He's the best pure boxer on the planet and you could say he arguably has been all along. But that's the fight that motivates me, really motivates me, because I know I'd have to be at my very sharpest in the mind and body or he'd keep me at bay and people would say I was limited.
"I know I can and will beat him if that fight comes together. I know I've got the speed in the levers to get up-close, and once I'm up-close I know I've got the strength and technique. Floyd only ever fights in the pocket against weaker guys or weaker punchers. And how do I land the left hook? Throw one to the body first.
"And my great advantage is the ability to work at a higher pace than anybody else, now I'm not questioning Floyd's stamina - I'm sure he could go 20 rounds - but I'm questioning whether he'll be able to operate on the kind of tempo I can set. It's my opinion that he needs time and space to go through his box of tricks, and it's my opinion that I can close the gap fast enough."
Miguel Cotto
"I'm not particularly interested in Miguel Cotto to be honest with you. He's not on my level yet.
"I'm a former Ring Magazine fighter of the year, a multi-titlist and multi-weight champion.
"Miguel, while obviously a very, very good, marauding fighter, doesn't bring a great deal to the table yet.
"I wouldn't put him in the bracket of Kostya Tszyu, I wouldn't put him in the bracket of Jose Luis Castillo and I wouldn't put him the bracket of Floyd Mayweather.
"But if he was to step up to the plate and we were to fight some day - and bare in mind I've stated all along that the only fight at welterweight for me is Floyd Mayweather, so Miguel would probably have to beat Floyd Mayweather or Mayweather would have to retire for me to consider Miguel - then I'd just give him lots of cute angles, only planting my feet here and there.
"I feel I can frustrate him then rock him, and when your rocked against Ricky Hatton, Ricky Hatton doesn't want to let you off the hook.
"Obviously Miguel is a much naturally bigger guy than me, so I'm not going to be standing toe-to-toe with him until one of us falls, because then it's a toss of the coin."
Oscar De La Hoya
"That would be a big, money-spinning fight. Obviously, financial security is important to me at this stage of my career, with so many miles on the clock and a family to look after.
"A fight with Oscar De La Hoya at Man City's ground would be the stuff that dreams are made of to be honest. If he lost against Floyd, then it would be logical to set up me and Floyd for me to take on Oscar too, and try to beat him.
"If he beat Floyd, and say I beat Oscar, again it would set up Floyd with me.
"The fight would happen at welterweight and I just feel this is a guy who has fought at middleweight and not looked too bloated.
"He'd maybe not be at his strongest making the welterweight whereas I would be stronger and more explosive at welterweight given the right preparation, plus he's not getting any younger and plus there'll be more miles on the clock after the Floyd fight, and I'd just be on him like a pitbull, and moving to his right because his left hook is obviously his big weapon."
Junior Witter
"I won't fight Junior Witter unless he steps up to the plate and fights and beats great fighters like I'm doing, unless American TV want the fight.
"But for some reason or other, I think the Castillo's, De La Hoya's and Mayweather's would get the nod ahead of Junior Witter. I think the Gatti's and Corrales's would too, the Cotto's and so on.
"Junior is way down the pecking order, very unnappealing to American TV with his mind-numbing style and lack of resume.
"He's not really fought anybody since he lost to Zab Judah seven years ago, other than DeMarcus Corley a few months ago who always lost to top guys anyway.
"In that time I've beaten guys like Kostya Tszyu, Vince Phillips, Luis Collazo, Eamonn Magee, Mikhail Krivolapov, Freddie Pendleton, Tony Pep, Ben Tackie, Ray Oliveira, Carlos Maussa, Juan Urango and I'm set to fight Junior's mandatory challenger in Las Vegas in the summer, the great Jose Luis Castillo.
"What more can I say? If we did fight, if your asking me for the tactics I'd use, I wouldn't let him get to me or frustrate me. I'd smirk and use my superior technique to out-box him. He only has a punchers chance and he pretty much admits that."
