if pacman retires ill be so depressed...i mean we can give credit to guys like barrera and morales for there heart and skill but pacman is like watching a video game character dude is devoid of that technical bore fest and this is his prime! he needs to fight some top guys and then retire! he should of chose golden boy he would of been able to give fight fans what they wanted.

if you want people who gavce up on boxing to watch boxing again dont show them a technical fight show them a pacquiao fight boxing needs fighters like him...thats why tyson was so popular people want the knockout and drag out wores fighters who are explosive.

i hate to say it, but ur completely wrong.

Manny has a singing career, a family, a party life, and a bussiness career going on right now.

And he manages to remain 100% focused on fighting, and 100% fucused on all other things.

If he gets elected AND decides to fight on, he shouldnt have to much trouble handling it

Well friend a fighter having a family is given because all fighters have families so there's nothing much to discuss there. Singing career? Shooting Movies? ****fights? These can be all be scheduled so no big deal.

But being in politics? No way! Being a politician especially in the congessional level, you have to study every issues before you make a stand and depend your stand inside the Hall of Congress baby. The kind of issues which bothers you even in your sleep so there's no way he can still concentrate on his fighting career. Or otherwise he can't help his contituents as he was claiming he wants to do because he'll just be another nuisance political figure. An "INUTILE" politcal personality who'll be a laughing stock inside congress.

In fairness to Pacquiao, he knows what he is going into that's why he made that declaration.

Pacquiao is stepping into politics real quick. His goal was mayor but now to congressional. With his limited education and boxing career, its better for him to run for a small time position such as city/town councilor. Take at least 1 college class per semester(online maybe). When he retires from boxing, he has some experience in politics and can go to a college full time. Then he can run for mayor or congressman.

Even if i am a Pac fan, i will not vote for him. We know that Pac's intention is good for entering politics but he is not ready. Its those big time politicians that are convincing him to run.

What's the update? I heard Pac is not qualified to run for office cuz where he registered. I hope his not so he can just box till 2010.

Isn't it still up for the COMELEC(or which ever governing body is in charge of elections) to rule that Pac is disqualified? Are they making a special case for Pac?
