WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs will not be able to defend his title against Sultan Ibragimov as scheduled. Briggs was forced to delay the the fight due to a case of walking pneumonia. Shannon told *********.com that he's disappointed in the cancellation because "it was an easy $1.8 million," but is hopeful the bout can be rescheduled for May or June.

This sucks big time but I guess that you can't fault Briggs for being sick and not wanting to take any chances...Hopefully this will be rescheduled asap.
