    Paulie's HBO interview

What Cotto did do was bad enough though. Bad enough that when Malignaggi first saw himself on a TV monitor at ringside after the fight he couldn't believe it. Couldn't believe anyone had done that to him and couldn't believe someone had and still been unable to get rid of him.

I pride myself on my looks,'' Malignaggi (25-1, 5 KO) said. "I didn't like what happened. After the (plastic) surgery, the muscles in my face had to get reacquainted with themselves and the titanium plate they put underneath my eye, where the orbital bone got shattered. I didn't look right. My smile was lopsided and I was thinking, 'Oh, no, am I always going to look like this? That's not my face.' That made me so mad. But after a couple of months things came back and now I look pretty much the same as I always did.

    Cotto is a ****ing beast

I think Cotto is best puncher pound for pound in boxing right now.

And to think Malignaggi is saying he wants a rematch down the road.

    Yikes.

That's what happens when you stand in front of a puncher.

Cotto is a devestating puncher, that's without question. I just want to see him step it up against serious opposition and then see what happens. Cotto is a good fighter with a lot of heart and power, but I think a really skilled boxer will have a picnic with him.

A skilled boxer would have his way with him till maybe the late 2nd or 3rd round until Cotto figures him out. After that here comes the body shots that will open up the head shots or vice versa and down goes ______. IMO, Cotto's a better boxer than what people give him credit for.

I think Shane Mosley would dominate Cotto in almost the same fashion he dominated Collazo. I doubt Cotto would get anymore than 4 rounds. A slick boxer knows how to avoid his opponet's best punch and make him look foolish. I can see Mosley doing this to Cotto.

Mosely has shown in the past that he doesn't fare well to fighters who puts pressure on him. Cotto would not sit back & let Mosley have his way the way Collazo did. The jab & body shots will slow down Mosely.
