The Best Super Bantamweight in the World will come face to face with the Best Bantamweight in the World in an eagerly awaited contest between to Mexican Juggernaut’s on 3 March in California. We recently caught up with Isreal Vazquez and here are his thoughts on the fight and a few others.
Anson Wainwright: What are your thoughts on your upcoming fight with Rafeal Marquez?
Israel Vazquez- I feel good. I am training hard and have good sparing partners. I feel everything will come together and I will be ready.
AW: What are Marquez strengths and weaknesses in your opinion?
IV: Marquez is a good champion. He has more strengths than weaknesses. He is a good boxer/puncher and a good counter puncher. But I feel he has a suspect chin. I will be the strongest fighter he has faced thus far. And although I do not think it will be an easy fight, I still feel I will come out victorious
