And Lennox Lewis was first - Jaimaican. Then Canadian. Then he moved to the UK.

Lennox was born in London and lived there until he was 12, he then moved to canada.

Really? Exactly what is that supposed to mean. I think the implication is that I took a myopic view. Now I don't have thin skin, but Boxing is not a safe haven for the polically correct. That's one of the reasons I like so much. My comments were staright forward and my subsequent posts were clear. Each country in the world is unique and I believe that the style of fighters of each country reflect some of that uniqueness. Mexican fighters are known for their machismo. You can accept that or not, but each main evenyt in Mecxico starts with these word from the announcer. Es Macho? Quien es macho al noche?

I already have made some comments about fighters from the different countries in Africa.

But too the point. I have always like the Brit fighter's toughness in the ring. Billy Shewer was and is a friend and he demonstatred this to a fault. But that's my personal opinion. If you feel it implys some negative issues associated with "the celebration of diversity" you own that...not me. It is what it is and it's an opinion.
Thanks for writing me a novel. Now show me where I insulted you.

They were Jamaican, but lennox was born and raised in England, and he's a British citizen. If we always took a fighter's parents/relatives into account , most of the all time great afro-american fighters wouldn't be seen as American.

I know I know. Oh....but many of the African Americans DO have white blood in them. Slave owners couldn't keep their weiners in their pants.

Good point. His mother was a Jamiacan minister..I think. Lennox is kind of rare in that he can claim different heritages when it suit him. Canada, England, Jamaica. Kind of neat.

Actually if you go back and check the first page of the thread, you will see that I did, in fact, stay on topic and was deviated away from the topic by somebody else who accused me of something I did not do. Now go back and check that... then tell me what is wrong with YOU, not me.
