I agree. I really see no point. Roach will not change his style and if he does Zab still has those bad habits that he has probably had since he was an amateur. I think he needs a guy like Goosen who gives good CORNER advice and good moral support. Roach is not that guy, IMO.

I think people are getting a little carried away with the Roach thing. Don't get me wrong, he's a great trainer but Zab has to be like the 8-9th fighter that people have said, "oh roach, should train him."

But Goosen would actually work, during the rounds he would give SPECIFIC instructions and could probably refocus Zab during those times.

Yeah, I agree. And I personally dont think its smart to have a family member as your head trainer. Too much emotions running through the head trainers and the boxers mind at once. I think this is a big reason why Zab fights the way he does....very sloppy and undisciplined.
