Erik Morales has really earned the respect and admiration of the Filipino people through his class and determination in the trilogy with Pacquiao. After their series of fights, they have even become friends, with Morales traveling to the Philippines as Manny's guest. It's a truly touching situation with them, given the contentious rivalry between their clashing nationalities.

"The people (Filipinos) are very enthusiastic there in absolutely everything what does. Even in expressing admiration by somebody… where it wants that it went, followed me more than one hundred people and they demonstrated to esteem and admiration to me by everything what I did when facing Pacquiao. "They are great people”, said Erik Morales
