Yes, he was a great fighter and one of the best 175ers ever. However, i think none of us choose to criticize him cuz he's an old school fighter and we cant say anything bad about them, right?

He has beat guys like lloyd marshall, jimmy bivins and durelle . Those guys were good, but are they true ELITE ALL TIME GREATS, not really. If you do alot of research on the old mongoose;s career, you will realize he came up short on many big fights.

So he was a great fighter, but i think guys like foster and spinks could definetly beat him. The guys he lost to are better than the guys he beat.

yeah but a lot of those guys are heavyweights and he was best at light heavy.

There's no point in slating fighters anyway, so why start with a legend like the old mongoose
