Ya man, Vanes is gonna do big things for boxing, mark my words.
He is a very humble kid at only 20 years old, has accomplisehd so much already.
- Went to the 2004 Athens Olympics at age of 17 for the USA against all odds. He was fighting once a day in the last few weeks of the trials and had to win something like 20 straight fights to make the team.
- came back and signed as a pro in April 2005 with the biggest names in boxing - TOP RANK, Bob Arum, and manager Shelly Finkel.
- Trained by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach, and great physical trainer Justin Fortune.
- still undefeated at (12-0, 8KOs)
- HASN'T LOST A SINGLE ROUND AS A PRO YET (fought 40 Rounds total in 12 fights)
- 10 out of 12 opponents of Vanes have had a winning record.
This 2007 year is BIGG for Vanes as they will look to step up his competition and make him a true Top 10 contender for all the belts.
His last fight Video from Honda Center is here
(2nd Round uppercut TKO looks sick) Ill put it on YouTube soon...
