Do they give an eye test?

Hey at my gym there are a bunch of people who wear glasses when training (not while sparring though) and they are national champs and stuff. I was just wondering if you get an eye test at the medical exams.. and if so, how do the people who wear glasses pass.. I mean there is no way you can pass an eye exam without glasses if you need them, and i thought people who need glasses cant box. So... are they allowed to or something?

Well, you answered that question on your first post when you stated that people from your gym who wear glasses are national champs.

but i do know boxers who needed glasses and still got a liscense but im sure it depends on why they needed glasses ie reading.

You can still box if you wear glasses as long as your vision meets a certain standard. That standard depends on the boxing commission.
