Is he an all time great? Or just a really good champion? He got stopped twice and didnt avenge either of them, but then he has beaten Morales twice, Ayala, Juarez, Hamed and lots of decent contenders. But will there always be question marks over the Mexican?
If Barrera retires without rematching Pacquaio how much does that hurt his legacy?

I think it hurts his legacy a lot....
But, I also think we're talking about him being top hundred all time fighter rather than top twenty, so his legacy as a great fighter, HOF etc is alreaady secure. If he were to beat Pacquiao he would be up as one of the greatest under 130
He's got wins over morales, Hamed, Tapia - all v nice wins.Comment

I agree. MAB wasnt anywhere near his prime when Pacquaoi beat him. Nowhere.Comment

Barrera is still great even if he doesn't face Pac. As any fighter after the have proven themselves, the more great fighters you beat the better your legacy becomes. So as someone else said, it can't get worse it will only get better.Comment
