IMO vargas was way past washed up, beating vargas would do nothing but give him a false sense of coonfidence since basically any of the good fighters at 147 could have KO'ed vargas at 154 without any trouble whatsoever, plus all the other top 154 guys would easily KO vargas too.... well not corey spinks, but everyone else would

Both fighters should be full of confidence. Regardless of whether Vargas was washed up or not, Not many people expected to see Mosley knock him out and especially not a 1-punch knockout.

And even though Collazo's record has a loss from the Hatton bout, he may be better off. He gained repected in the boxing community, and showed the world, and HBO he deserves to be in the championship picture.

I think we got a clear answer who had the faster hand speed tonight. Shane dominated from the outside and inside. I would have liked to see Collazo let his hands go, but i think frustration set in and he was resigned to going the distance with Shane.
