    Is Pacquiao qualified for politics?

    As reported by Salven Lagumbay:

"Early this week, Pacquiao and his younger brother Bobby took a highschool equivalency test in General Santos City, a move that would allow them to get highschool diploma even without formal schooling.

Pacquiao admitted that they had only finished up to elementary grades, pointing out that extreme poverty forced them out of school and into the squared arena."

The Philippines is a politically messed up country as it is. Does it need a guy who just recently received his GED running things?

You don't ask for any qualification if you're talking of Philippine politics dude.

That is a place where movie actors, personnel charged with rebellion and a plain house wife gets elected to the house of representatives and to the highest post in the land. Not to mention ******** lords getting elected in the local levels.

If Pac doesn't know how to write he can just use his thumbmark to sign documents.

          EXACTLY !!!!

The sad truth is the guy just loves to be in the lime light and some scrupulous politicians took avantage and coerced to make him run for a position.

At the end of the day he will be just another puppet because it's not gonna be him running the city affairs. It's gonna be his political advisers who are mainly composed of former losing candidates.

What does the guy knows on governance?

Is Pacquiao qualified for politics? A tremendous HELL NO. Maybe after he retires, get a GED(don't know what its called in Philippines), then go to college and take politics or economy and get a degree in it. Start with small political position such as town/city councilor.

But like in any other country, his popularity will help him if he enters politics. Just look at that ****star who became a politician in Italy.

arnold was more qualified...the dude is pretty smart...and he was better then gray davis the only reason people hate him is because he is a **********...in a mostly ********ic state.

but arnold cannot create miracles for the already damaged state that gray davis made california davis was a ******** does that mean ********s are bad nope.

ventura was not qualified, arnold was doing alot of civic work and supported alot of political issues since the early 80s...

he has way more qualification then you would think he even has a degree unlike pacquiao...
