Do you think this round was really overrated? Jim Lampley said this was like Bowe-Holyfield round 10, but I didn't see nearly as much damage as was stated. Barrera was in a defensive posture, clearly trying to pick off punches as they came in and then he caught Morales with a big shot he didn't see and Morales was steadying the ship. The only time in the fight that I saw Morales really in trouble was in the 10th at the end when he overextended on that right hand and got caught with a counter 1-2-3 that sent him into the ropes. Do you think this round is overrated by history?

No I don't believe it was overrated.
The round contained everything that makes a round great. I don't believe two fighters have to be winging away at each other the whole round for it to be great. I also don't believe that a fighter has to be dropped and/or hurt in a round for it to be great.
This round is so great because we get to see two hall of fame fighters, at their respective peaks, displaying their crafts with vicious intent. These guys had bad blood and it showed. A lesser fighter would have been battered or stopped by the barrages of punches they hit each other with. The classic back and forth action needed nothing more. They come out of a very good, hard fought 4th round fighting on even terms for the first minute. Morales then starts landing his devastating right hand and has Barrera in bad shape in the second minute. When it looks like Morales is going to seize control of Barrera, Marco strikes back and lands some savage combinations that rocks Erik against the ropes. Back and forth action, both guys fighting to the bell, great round. -
Its a phenomonal round, and i did like it better then BOWE-HOLYFIELD round 10 because i like the lower classes. THe speed was incredible.
The passion was awsome i loved it.
BUT, not so many flush shots were landed which really takes away from the round. They were just throwing shots in fast AND long combinations.

You post reggaeton songs. Listen to reggaeton songs you probably have no idea what they are saying. You CHANGED your name from AsianSensation. I changed my username on Boxingscene, I still am Asian Sensation. Almost all of the pinoys post in Hispanic Lounge, we're hospitable and friendly customers. I asked for pimp lines in spanish becuz I bag a lot of spanish chicks, like my girl. I listen to reggaetone becuz it's hot, and I know what they are saying more times than not. I happen to like that Tego cd and I am an underdog habitually, and I've always liked Tito. I know mad white dudes and black dudes who like Tito, he was a good fighter.
All this stuff adds up to that you feel I'm encroaching on your ethnicity, which is ludicrous. This is like the episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, when Larry intercedes on the ***ish dudes baptism into Catholicism. It's ridiculous, I do what I want. Report me if it's a problem.Comment

Why would I report you? Its alright that you wish you were latino. If I wasn't latino I would want to be too. I doubt you understand reggaeton too because I speak spanish very well and can barely understand it sometimes. I have a strong feeling your lying to me there. If your an underdog then right underdog in english of in fillipinos language, why spanish? And a picture of Tito that says deportes on it. Come on now. I find this a bit funny.Comment
