i want to see him fight hatton, sugar shane, and cotto. those are the most important fights for him to take i think. and he could definately win them all.

He doesn't really care now what his critics say. He knows he isn't appreciated. There is no other fighter gifted and as talented as he is today. People take this trash talk too serious. He talked **** about Gatti, but afterwards said it was too promote the fight. He said Judah had no chin and Judah low blowed him and Floyd didn't say anything bad about Zab. He's trying to put people in the seats.

I hope Floyd keeps it up, and I know he will. I hope he ignites a fire in Oscar that will make the fire Mayorga ignited in him look like a matchstick flame. Logic tells you that the much younger fighter will almost always win but this is not always the case. Sometimes sheer hatred is the motivation that sparks the flame of desire and age suddenly goes out the window....

I'll laugh my ****ing ass off if Oscar upsets Floyd.

don't worry little man, he'll light a fire under oscar and it will most likely end up like mayorga and oscar, but tones down some. nonetheless, it'll be hero and underdog vs villan and favorite to win just like mayorga. the only difference is that this time the villian prevails in impressive fashion because floyd ain't mayorga. he's the best fighter in the sport, and has the will to win. oscar likes to make himself the victim in the press conferences and then come into the fights like he will defeat the bad guy, but this isn't your typical badguy. this is a badguy you just cannot defeat and won't defeat because he's the smartest badguy you ever faced and he's much smarter in his craft the you are. floyd talks **** like the villan and he wins because really, it's not about oscar, it's floyd's time to be the top dog which he is. floyd is the best badguy in the business. he will defeat oscar and oscar won't know what to do afterwards except either cry about it or give floyd his props because he's not defeating floyd mayweather. mayweather is boxing no matter how much he flashes and shows off. he knows at the ned of the day, what it takes to win, and he's destined to beat oscar and he will. people make it seem like oscar is so humble but behind closed doors he's so angel himself. floyd just knows how to stay true to himself and if that invloves him talking trash, then so be it, because he will back it up in the ring which he will do against oscar. floyd will dominate oscar and all of you people who hate his guts will have no other choice but to sit back and swallow it.

          Oscar afraid of Floyd???

Oscar got in the ring with Hopkins: a bigger man who literally roughed up opponents into retirement, why would he be afraid of mayweather?

I don't hate Floyd. I deeply admire and respect his talent and ability. I just think he needs to tone it down a little. It'd be a great way to get the respect he so deeply desires.

Either way it makes no difference if you want Mayweather to win, or you want De La Hoya to win. I think we can all agree that it's going to be one of those fights that delivers everything, action, drama, excitement and tension. Regardless of who wins it's going to be the fight of the year.

No matter who he beats, Mayweather will not be the best fighter ever.
That is just ridiculous. He's not even a " Fighter ", he's a boxer. Keep talking Floyd, when you finally piss Oscar off, you will wish you hadn't.
              Just ask Mayorga about that.

                i agree,
anyone notice on how larry merchant, emmanuel steward, and jim lampley was talking about floyd whlie he was fighting baldy, it's carzy..........
arguing that he is not the best fighter ever, a great fighter doesn't justbox for 12rds knowing he can put his opp. away.......never ever ever ever compare floyd mayweather jr to leonard, haggler, duran, hearns, robinson and many others because he is not, mayweather is one of a few talented fighter....he a gift from god which is box period but that's not great......
im not hating on floyd it's just funny to listen to him compare himself, which you would never hear the media say, have you ??????????
mayweather will be shut come to may 5th......and i will like larry to interviwe floyd to see what he got to say.......

the thing is, Mayorga ...nor vargas arent floyd mayweather. Mayweather being the best fighter hes ever faced. I mean, cracked out passed his prime pernell whitaker gave oscar all he could handle, if whitaker were in his prime, oscar loses that fight. Oscar will have his hands full, pissed off or not.
