I'd like to see this fight but without Freddie in his corner, I don't think its gonna happen.

He's going to whip Casa's ass.

I think Diaz has passed prospect a long time ago and is on the road to stardom. Him beating on Sim was impressive as hell.....one of the most impressive displays of punching combinations the sport has seen in years.....and that was when he was still relatively unknown.

He might not have a lot of pop, but his gloves make a loud noise when he throws combos and that **** scores. Casa is going to be trying to slick his way out and he's going to get tatooed.

I also think with volume Diaz will knock Corrales out.

I agree with RWK on both points. Corrales and Casamayor are both too worn to hang with Diaz. Also, as a big Pac fan I see Diaz as a legit threat to Pacquaio due to his size, handspeed, tenacity and ability to take a shot. Diaz is way fresher than Morales at this point and would put up a stiff ****ing test to Pacquiao.

I'm not kidding but as it stands now....I won't pick anyone over Diaz.

He's been way too solid and impressive since he debuted and he keeps getting stronger. He obviously changed his routines because he dropped that baby fat that he used to have and is now in supreme fighting shape.

Well....he was against Suico anyways. But regardless, he's going to cause problems because he's only what? 26? Most guys in the lightweight division are carrying canes or riding wheelchairs right now.

I think it would be one hell of a fight if Pac took Diaz' offer and they fought at 135. It might be a bit too high for Pac but, then again, Diaz is not known as a puncher in that division.

He does have sick combinations and is the best technical boxer at 135 with maybe the exception of Casamayor but Casita is getting old and doesn't really reflect his younger self any more.

I also think Diaz - Diaz for the IBF and WBA belt unification (and maybe the WBC if Diaz beats Casita like I think he will) would be a sick fight, maybe the best at 135 right now. Julio is a very good boxer/puncher who can move around, give angles, and use his jab and reach very well; Juan is a sick combination puncher with fast hands and a sustained body attack. Since Juan lacks power at 135, I don't think Julio's beard will really be tested so we should get some serious action out of this one.

I'd pick Julio "The Kidd" Diaz to beat Juan "The Baby Bull" Diaz by SD, tho.
